Two charged with tech-support scamming the elderly for $10m

The tech-support scammers were allegedly part of a network of crooks in the US and India who conned about 7,500 victims.

The defendants allegedly pulled in over $1.3 million over the course of about six years for unnecessary and undelivered tech support.

Police raided 16 Indian call centers last week – a second big raid sparked by Microsoft filing complaints about tech support scammers.
